Keep sewing and foods classes
April 13, 2010What?! Sewing’s being cut next year?! That is one of the dumbest things I have ever heard! That makes me so mad, because that cuts one of the best teachers at this school. Just because of that proposal to move in Hiatt kids. Now don’t let me get on that topic!
This means I won’t be able to take sewing to try and pass it. The district is being so unfair. I want to put a complaint against this cutting sewing. What about the teacher? What is she going to do? I do not think that sewing should be cut. I learned a lot in sewing from Mrs. W. I learned how to make a pair of pajama pants. I didn’t do the best on them but the teacher showed and taught me as good as she could and I had a lot of fun doing it too. She showed me how to make a frog and we stuffed it to make it look more realistic. I even added a little tongue to it for it to look a little funny and unique.
Foods were another very good and fun class that I had. Mrs. Brennan is great and knows what she’s doing or she wouldn’t be here. We made a lot of good food in her class. All of it tasted so great and yummy. We made cheese enchiladas, different types of eggs, soup, pancakes, waffles, trail mix, and a whole bunch of other things that were great. The teacher would put us into groups to work as a team. My group would take turns bringing the drinks to go with our food. It was a very fun class and made you want to actually go to the class. The class is great the teacher is amazing. They shouldn’t cut this class at all.
